The aviation industry has a special place in the world in various economic and military fields, and our country, with the help of God, is taking steps towards the production of airplanes, so it is clear that the existence of experienced and highly skilled test pilots is necessary to complete this The cycle of production and independence is very important in this field. With the academic presentation of the test pilot course in Iran since 2018, the country has faced the challenge of practical training (flight) of test pilots, therefore this research was carried out with the aim of the feasibility of using light aircraft in the training of test pilots. Is. The statistical population of the research consists of aviation experts and experts familiar with the field of test pilots in Naha, who have the organizational rank of colonel and above, more than 20 years of service and bachelor's degree and above, who were selected by purposeful and judgmental sampling method. and answered the questions raised in the research. The data obtained from the interviews were analyzed by theme analysis. The results of the data analysis showed that it is possible to train test pilots in terms of the light aircraft available in Nahaja, and the approval of the test pilot field academically is a positive step in the direction of improving the knowledge and skills of test pilots, as well as the implementation of practical flight training for the field. The test pilot prepares the pilot to face a new bird that is completely unknown. Key words: test pilot, light aircraft, practical flight training, feasibility study, test pilot school
