Abstract
Objectives:
Today, flight simulators are considered as an integral part in the direction of training and improving the ability level of fighter aircraft pilots.
Since many missions are assigned to the F4 aircraft and the condition for the effective performance of these missions is the high level of ability of the pilots and the condition for increasing the level of ability is the repetition and practice of flights related to this aircraft.
Considering the many problems in the production of sorties in Nahaja, the use of these simulators to practice and repeat flights in different flight conditions has been very useful, because in addition to improving the level of pilots' ability in the three categories of skill, knowledge and attitude, the pilots have this possibility. They allow them to use their accumulated experience in these devices in such a way that they get the maximum benefit from them and carry out their mission continuously, accurately and quickly with the minimum number of sorties required and as a result, the aircraft is less endangered.
The purpose of this research was to explain how to empower F-4 pilots of the Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force by using tactical simulators, which includes the following sub-goals:
1. Explaining how to increase the skill level of F-4 pilots of the Air Force of the Islamic Republic of Iran by using tactical simulators.
2. Explaining how to increase the level of knowledge of F-4 pilots of the Air Force of the Islamic Republic of Iran by using tactical simulators.
3. Explaining how to increase the level of attitude of F-4 pilots of the Air Force of the Islamic Republic of Iran by using tactical simulators.
Methodology: This is applied type and mixed method, the statistical population of which is all the pilots in the tactical squadrons of F-4 and F-4 pilots serving in the headquarters of IRIAF with a BA or higher, which is 120 persons; The sample size was equal to 92 people using computational and theoretical methods. The sampling method is proportional simple random. In order to collect data and information, interview with experts, review literatures and questionnaire were used. To perform a qualitative analysis of reasoning and rational analysis, to perform a quantitative analysis of descriptive and inferential statistics, and in order to perform a mixed analysis, a combination of both quantitative and qualitative methods was used simultaneously,
Results: Based on the results, it can be seen that the empowerment of Air Force F-4 pilots is possible by using tactical simulators, and based on the results obtained from the questionnaire, it can be said that 82% of the statistical sample increased their skill level and 81.53 increased their knowledge level. And 79.35% have found it possible to increase the level of attitude of F-4 pilots as completely agree and agree. Therefore, the claim hypothesis has been confirmed in all three stated hypotheses
